Food is the most cultural thing that exists. A few years ago, giving up meat was unthinkable for the vast majority of Brazilians. However, a revolutionary vegetarian movement is underway, driven by health, Environmental and spiritual reasons...
People there have started caring about Animal rights and giving up meat! And what’s even more wonderful is that this movement was initiated by the Hare Krishna group.
It’s a shame that India, the land of Ayurveda and Prakriti Raksha is still debating on a National beef ban.
Instead of cutting down on meat the pseudo wokes give non-sensical cultural, historical and protein reasons that hold no relevance anymore, to justify and increase its consumption.

Protein needs are overblown. The FDA in the US recommends 50g of protein / day for a man. That req is easily met with a vegetarian Indian diet
