Kushite Temple of Amen-Ra at Mussawarat, Sudan. The elephant was a major royal symbol in Kush that was not featured much in Kemet. The obvious reason is because Kemet did not have the land for a population of elephants to graze.
Nowhere in northern Africa does one find the elephant. The Hannibal of the Carthaginians had conscripted Kushite mercenaries to fight the Romans. The success of the Kushite elephant cavalries was demonstrated in the defeat of Greeks and Romans from entering Kush.
It took the Europeans nearly 1,000 years after conquering Kemet, to make leeway in Kush, and this was only achieved on a religious level following the destruction of Kush by the traitors of the African race, the Aksummites.
