Facebook will let you see the amount paid for a political ad in the U.S,but in Iraq a place where activists and journalists continue to suffer from Political and Militia backed smear campaigns(leading to their death at times)ads do not show any details. Facebook needs to fix this
During the protests political entities and Iranian backed militias used FB to advance their propaganda by sponsoring ads calling activists,Journalists (Spies,agents of the west, pimps, sluts etc), Death to America slogans were paid for and sponsored. Hundreds of people died
Facebook never cared to investigate nor reported such a massive political troll operation.
Seeing an ad calling me all sort of slurs and false accusations ,using my own picture,I would report it just to see what FB will do.Reply was usually( this does not violate our policy)Because of all these paid ads I canβt visit Iraq,THX FB profited while endangering our lives.
