HMoI @raufaregbesola represented by the PermSec, Dr. Shuaibu Belgore was at the Service Headquarters this morning to assess the extent of damage caused by the inferno that gutted some of our Offices yesterday.
He addressed a cross section of the media assuring that normal operational activities are ongoing as the inferno did not affect any critical areas of operations. He assured that the cause of the fire will be ascertained&appropriate measures emplaced.
Speaking earlier the Comptroller General Muhammad Babandede MFR noted that a committee is already in place in conjunction with the Federal Fire Service to ascertain the cause (s) of the inferno. He assured that normalcy will be restored to the affected Offices within the week.
He enjoined the public to continue to reach us via any of our social media platforms such as email,Twitter, Facebook on @nigimmigration while efforts are being made to restore services at the Call Centre, one of the Offices affected by the inferno.
