Gupta Empire inscriptions of Emperor Chandragupta II were found in Gilgit-Baltistan in Hunza Rock Saves. One of the northernmost regions of the subcontinent. Very few people know this. Check the map to get a better idea of how far North this is.
There are short inscriptions on the Hunza Rocks in Sanskrit in Gupta Brahmi script and some in Kharoshti Script. Scholars have identified one of them with the Gupta Emperor Chandraupgta II "Vikramaditya"
According to the Government of Pakistan itself in a UNESCO report, the Rock Carvings at Haldeikish have inscriptions in Kharoshti, Brahmi, Proto-Sharada, Sharada script. Sharada script is still used by Kashmiri Pandits today.
