Modern Egyptians are 70 to 90% Egyptian with only a slight increase in Arab ancestry in post Roman Periods.
The genetic profile of Ancient Egyptians is identical to that of modern Egyptians. Ancient Egyptians are Mediterranean, North African and Middle Eastern as well.
