#Thread Six Levels of Warrior Excellence in Wars....
(1) Ardharathi: Ardharathi was a trained warrior who was proficient in the use of weapons. An Ardharathi could face up to 2500 armed warriors alone.Talking about Ramayana and Mahabharata, innumerable Ardharthis took part in these wars.
Pitamah Bhishma counted Karna as an ardharathi.Many believe that this is of one of the reason Karna did not participate in the war during Bhishma.
(2) Rathi: A warrior who is well versed in the use of all types of weapons and can face 2 Ardharthis, ie 5000 armed warriors simultaneously.
Ramayana (Rathis):Among the demons Khar, Dushan, Tadka, Maricha, Subahu, Vatapi etc.
Among the Vanaras, Meand and Dwivind, Hanuman's sons Makardhwaj, Sharabh and Sushen were considered Rathis.
Mahabharata ( Rathis): All the Kauravas, Yudhishthira, Nakula, Sahadeva, Shakuni, his son Uluka, Virat, Uttara, Shishupala , Jayadratha, Shikhandi, Sudakshin, Shankh, Shwetha, Irawan, All the sons of Karan. Duryodhana has been considered equal to 4 Rathis.
(3) Atirathi: A warrior who is knowledgeable of many weapons with normal weapons and can face 12 Rathis, ie 60000 armed warriors simultaneously in battle.
Ramayana (Atirathis): Luv, Kush, Akampan, Vibhishana, Devantak, Narantak, Mahiravan, Nal, Neel.
Prahast, Bharata son Pushkal, Vibhishan, Trishira, Akshayakumar, Hanuman's father Kesari considered as Atirathis.
Mahabharata(Atirathi): Bhima, Jarasandha, Kritavarma, Shalya, Drupada, Ghatotkacha, Satyaki, Keechak, Bahlik, Samb, Pradyumna, Kripacharya.
Shishupala, Rukmi, Narakasura, considered as Atirathis.
(4) Maharathi: It was probably the most famous title and all the warriors who received this title were respected and famous all over the world.The maharathi used to be a warrior who was able to carry all the known weapons and many Diya Astra.
In battle, the Maharathi could face 12 Atirathis alone. Apart from this, any warrior who had knowledge of Brahmastra (those who were few) would fall directly into the category of Maharathi.
Ramayana(Maharathi): Bharata, Shatrughna, Angad, Sugriva, Attikaya, Kumbhakarna, Jamwant etc. fall under the category of Maharathi.Ravana, Bali and Kartavirya Arjuna are considered equal to more than one maharathi.
Mahabharata(Maharathi): Abhimanyu, Ashwatthama, Bhagadatta, Barbarik etc. were Maharathis. Bhishma, Drona, Karna, Arjuna and Balarama are considered equal to more than one Maharathi.
(5) Atimaharathi: Warriors of this category were rare.He/She was called the Atimaharathi, who could face 12 Maharathi class warriors alone, as well as having knowledge of all kinds of divine powers.
Ramayana: In the Ramayana, Lord Shri Ram was the Atimaharathi. Apart from him, Meghnad is considered to be the Atimaharathi because he was the only one who had the three Maha astras, Brahmastra, Narainastra and Pashupatastra.
Apart from this, Lakshman, Lord Parashurama and Mahavir Hanuman have also been considered as Atimaharathi.
Mahabharata: In the Mahabharata period, only Lord Krishna is considered to be the Atimaharathi.
Others (AtiMaharathi): The incarnations of Lord Vishnu, especially Varah and Narsingh, are also Atimaharathi. Some deities such as Kartikeya, Ganesha, Indra, Surya and Varuna are also considered to be Atimaharathi.
10 Mahavidhyas ,Rudravatara, especially Veerabhadra and Bhairava, are also considered to be Atimaharathi.
(6) MahaMaharathi: It is considered to be the highest level of any type of warrior.He/She is called a MahaMaharathi, who can face 24 Atimaharathi alone. Along with this, all types of divine powers and superpowers should be under him.
Only Brahma, Vishnu and Rudra and Adishakti are considered as MahaMaharathi.
