In the last one month, at least 4 people from the last w/shop have gotten remote jobs paying them in dollars. It’s not rocket science, if you can follow the steps in this thread, you can do it. That’s all for the introduction, let’s get to business.
The first thing you should have is a VALUABLE SKILL. Yes, you write, but is your writing valuable? You do not have to be a pro-writer; you just have to be good at what you do. You could be a programmer, video-editor, proofreader,...
UI/UX designer, language translator, virtual assistant, tech bro. Whatever it is, someone somewhere is willing to pay for that skill. Always have that in mind.
So, what happens if you do not have a skill? Learn. There are hundreds of valuable skills you can learn.

Earlier in the month, one of my followers started a course to become a product designer. She was a food vendor but seeing as she was interested in earning with a digital skill, she started the course.

The second thing is to HAVE A PORTFOLIO and/or a RESUME ready. A portfolio is a repository of your works. You do not have to be an expert to have a portfolio, start now. I do not think anyone would want to hire someone without a proven track record of excellence.
Resumes are not only meant for people who work in offices. As a freelancer/remote worker, get yourself a resume, a good one too. And if you have to get a portfolio deck, do so to. How? Check out wix.com, weebly.com, foliohd.com.
Or just google “Portfolio creating sites”. All your works should be uploaded. Not only would you look organized to your recruiter, but you would also have a huge sense of confidence. If you still do not know how to create a portfolio, please let me know under this tweet...
