Part 2.From some Buddhist sources Stephan Knapp's tried to show different Buddhas in Buddhist text. That's nothing new; Anyone who is well versed will surely say that in all Mahayan Buddhist scriptures there are innumerable Buddhas of past& their Worship has been attached in text
There are 3000 past buddhas in Buddhist understanding & saying that previous Buddhas as Vishnu or Saying that Adi Buddha as Vishnu is just work of Manipulation.Its not about Amarkosha or Lankavatara Sutra ... almost all buddhist Sutra do the same.
And by mere finding epithets of past Buddha as name of Vishnu is very common in all Indic tradition; that's just correlation. One can find many adjective of Mahavira,buddha,Shiva or any being as name of Vishnu.

Anjana' Son: The name of FATHER of Mahadevi Maya (Buddha's mother) was अंजन(Anjan) so Anjana can be epithet for Maya.
