We were big Koeman sceptics, but the work he has done in developing our youth, in unifying a divided squad, and just generally in getting through an amazingly tough season are all admirable.
Many, including us, have pointed to the poor record in "Big Matches" and this perhaps underscores Koeman's tactical naivete when faced by a top coach.
Koeman is certainly not the man to lead us back all the way to greatness, but unless the perfect candidate is available, he deserves another season.
