Heading to the vet soon. 7 month old lab 🐕 woke up this AM & cant use his right hind leg (cant support his weight on it so cant stand). 0 injuries or accidents prior so this is random af. For my dog lovers out there let me know if u had this happen before and what was the cause.

Funny how total strangers on twtr were actually more helpful than the goddamn vet that actually “examined” the dog. All theyre good at is charging ridiculous fees & doing a bunch of random scans just to tell u the most vague shit ever. anyway tks guys hope u all had a killer week

By the way, Shadow🐕 is doing great. He's been running around for the past 2 days as if nothing happened. the fix? I ended up going the "caveman" route and just encouraged him to walk on that leg until he got used to it (had to use Lamb meat 🥩 as bait).

GF thought I was being harsh at 1st but she came to her senses when she saw how quickly it worked. I told her "these fuckers are descendants of wolves.. if this was in the wild he'd have to get his shit together or get torn up by hyenas & shit". Anyway thanks 4 all the help guys

Also the vet told us to buy a thermometer & check his RECTAL temperature; that's where I tapped out. Sorry but i just couldnt do my boy like that so I let the GF takeover😂. Apparently he didnt even flinch, so me & him are gonna have to have a talk later b/c that's lowkey suspect
