1️⃣ @AcalaNetwork (for DOT) & @KaruraNetwork (for KSM) are cross-chain DeFi hubs offering users the ability to stake, swap, borrow, lend, and earn interest.
It'll have an oracle, stablecoin $aUSD and will port Polkadot to other chains like @compoundfinance's Gateway.

Investors include Polychain, Pantera, DCG, CMS and Coinbase Ventures. Their crowdloan currently has 15k participants -- $ACA and $KAR will be distributed to supporters.
2️⃣ @Plasm_Network ($PLM) and @ShidenNetwork ($SDN) aim to be a scalable Ethereum 2.0 on Polkadot. The platform can support the same apps as ETH. Plasm's Layer1 includes ETH's Layer2 scaling solutions. It'll also build a bridge to @cosmos and #BSC.

3️⃣ @MoonbeamNetwork ($GLMR) and Moonriver ($RIVER) offers an easy onramp for ETH-based projects to Polkadot. It extends the base ETH features plus onchain governance, staking and crosschain integrations. Users and devs can use ETH-based tools they're alerady familiar with.
They have 35 integrations including heavy weights like @SushiSwap, @BalancerLabs. Investors include Binance, ParaFi, Coinbase.
4️⃣ @PhalaNetwork ($PHA) and Khala ($K-PHA) enables computer power to other blockchain applications while protecting the data layer. Possibilities include privacy-protected DeFi trading positions. It can also perform mass data analytics (like Google Analytics) with privacy.
5️⃣ @Kylin_Network ($KYL) is building a cross-chain platform to power the data economy on Polkadot. It has data analytics capabilities, a data marketplace (for data exchange and pricing), and an oracle. Comparables include @chainlink $LINK, @oceanprotocol & @graphprotocol
6️⃣ @clover_finance ($CLV) and Sakura ($SKU) are one-stop cross-chain DeFi bridges that enables ETH projects to port to Polkadot. It has a multichain wallet, allowing users to transact without switching networks. It'll also take in-kind fees from the transacted asset.
7️⃣ @DarwiniaNetwork ($RING) and DarwiniaCrab ($CRING) a decentralized cross-chain bridge connecting asset transfers and remote chain calls on DOT, KSM, ETH, Tron and other heterogeneous chains. Its main applications target cross-chain gaming and NFT trading.
8️⃣ @EquilibriumDeFi ($EQ) and @GenshiroDeFi ($GENS) is introducing a cross-chain money market that combines pooled lending with synthetic asset generation & trading. Advanced features include bailouts, programmatic interest rates & advanced order types & margin trading on DEXs.
9️⃣ @centrifuge unlocks liquidity for real world assets, like invoices, real estate and royalties, to participate in DeFi. Collaborating with @MakerDAO and @AaveAave, Centrifuge facilitates borrowing and lending on the blockchain.
10/ @hydra_dx ($HDX) and Basilisk ($BSK) are cross-chain liquidity protocols, in favor of aggregated liquidity, improved composabilitya and lower spillage. In their ‘omnipool’, all assets can be traded against one another since each is tradeable against $HDX
11/ @BitCountryJapan ($NUUM) lets participants start their own metaverse, with customized rules, a token economy to incentivize residents and NFTs. Cross-chain interoperability will enable the transfer of any type of NFT asset or token.
12/ @HeyEdgeware ($EDG) is a smart contract blockchain with a community-managed treasury, governance, and network of DAOs.

13/ @MantaNetwork ($MA) wants blockchain privacy and interoperability. It is targeting the DeFi stack, with an anonymous decentralized exchange as its first product. The Manta Network is a layer-1 solution, which means that privacy will exist in the core architecture.
