We already know that towns like Huraimilah (where MIAW's older brother, Sulaiman IAW was Cheif Qadhi) were declared to have suddenly "apostated" en mass. This is recorded in Wahhabi historian, Ibn Ghanam's "Tarikh Najd". So the evidence is clear as day.

However, there is an even more immediate evidence of MIAW's mass takfir ‘in principle’;
It's the simple fact that MIAW waged *JIHAD* against these Muslim populations, and JIHAD is, by definition, to raise arms against DISBELIEVERS/KUFAR.

Imam Muwaffaq ud-Din Ibn Qudamah [d. 620H] said: “Jihad is armed combat against those who are UNBELIEVERS”. [Al-Iqna`, vol.2, pp.2-3].

And even the most watered-down, distorted representations of Wahhabi History, like this Saudi Government propaganda piece, cannot escape the fact that MIAW’s “Dawah” to the Muslims around him was indeed a “JIHAD”.
We of course know that Salafis will reply, “but this was only once the proof was established upon them!”. Sure, and ISIS also “established the proof” on neighbouring Muslim populations before ravaging & raping their lands. All murderous takfiris will *claim* proof-establishment.
Conversely, the Sunni Ulama at the time of Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab and after - across all 4 Schools of Law, regarded those being killed by the Wahhabis as **MUSLIMS**.

In conclusion, MIAW’s mass takfir of Muslims is proven:
i) Not only through explicit incidents of such mass excommunication in both Wahhabi & Sunni sources.
ii) But also through the very principle that it was a JIHAD being fought in the first place, which can only be for kufar.
