al-Hijjaj, Iraq Governor of the time, sent his son-in-law Muhammad bin Qasim to invade Sindh.
bin Qasim attacked Debal fort (modern Bhambore Fort) at the Sindhu delta. He got the siege m/c from the sea-route, reduced the fort, k!lled all Hindus over 3 days & erected a mosque.

After Debal fort, Qasim captured Nerun fort, Hyderabad. He further captured Hindu posts along the western banks of Sindhu, upto Sehwan where he was helped by Buddhists.
Qasim camped near Raor (Nawabshah) on the western bank while he received troops from some local chiefs.

Qasim was scolded by Caliph for waiting too long (2 months) at the banks of Indus. The local chiefs then helped Qasim cross the Sindhu!
A pitched battle between Qasim & Dahir was fought at Raor (Nawabshah)

A/c to Chachnama, the battle lasted two days & Raja Dahir fought with valour. On the 2nd day, the Muslim army was almost routed!

resisted for 6 months. Jaisimha tried cutting off his supplies. After capturing Brahminabad, Qasim marched to Aror, and captured it after a tough battle. Thereafter, Multan fell after a siege of two months.
With this, bin Qasim captured all of Chach Empire in 712 CE.

714-717: However, Jaisimha recaptured Brahminabad. Other Hindu chiefs too revolted against Caliphate control.
717-720: The Hindu chiefs were converted forcibly to I$lam.

defeated & ex3cuted by Junayd. Thus ended the Hindu Chach dynasty of Sindh.
725-6: The #Hindudom punished Junayd in the next years, with a huge victory of Nagabhata I Pratihar at Ujjain!
Meanwhile, Lalitaditya Muktapida of Kashmir maintained strong deterrence vs Arabs.

725-738: Bappa Rawal (Khummana I Guhila) captured Chittorgarh after defeating Arabs, and established the Mewar kingdom!
