Let me be clear: This is not as much bus service as the DART cities need. It's what DART can afford. This project was about finding the right balance of competing goals within that budget limit. So it's not everything I wish it could be. 2/
But the plan does express the priorities expressed by the community and approved by the Board, a slight shift in focus toward ridership goals and away from coverage goals, although there's almost no coverage loss. 3/
We're sorry it took so long, but the pandemic did slow us down and change our assumptions. 4/
