DG Khan district was originally inhabited by Panjabi Rajputs & Jatts before masses of Baloch tribals violently moved into the region post 1500.

…there seems to have been a sharp demographic shift with the significant Panjabi presence dissipating & the land falling entirely to the Baloch. The rapid change may be explained by the British allotting large swathes of former Jatt land to the Baloch for their loyalty. (2/4)
The first image is the statistics of the Panjabi Jatt population in DG Khan district in 1901 at near 119,000 (the Panjabi Rajputs were at around 14,000) so collectively equaling 133,000
The second image is that of the Baloch’s which was around 168,000. (3/4)
Note there are constant calls from Baloch nationalists to have DG Khan district and the surrounding areas merged with Balochistan since the population is overwhelmingly Baloch. & it’s evident the colonial era Baloch of DG Khan were the clear powerbrokers of the region. (4/4)
