No code tools are becoming very popular and they're helping people build businesses without any technical background.
I came across @potion_so this weekend and absolutely love what it does.
It helps you create websites on top of Notion.
Here is why it stands out ↓
Everyone wants to create online businesses these days and having a website is critical.
Potion is basically a website builder which mainly uses Notion as its CMS. You can put all your content on Notion and have it displayed on your website in minutes!
Before I begin, here is an example website that I put together in a couple of minutes using Potion:

Here are some of the great features that I love about Potion:
1. Notion:
Notion is one of the most popular and flexible tools. It's an all-in-one productivity solution and it's simply one of the best tools I've ever used.
You can create public pages on Notion and link them to pages on your website on Potion dashboard.
You can edit your content on Notion & it will reflect on your website in seconds.
Notion provides options to export your data as markdown.
So it's really easy if you want to export all of your content and move to another website builder in the future.
2. SEO & fast page loads:
SEO is important when it comes to building businesses online.
Potion is optimized so that search engines find your website. Potion also generates SEO-friendly URLs from your child page titles.
Here is how fast my portfolio website loads on desktop.
3. Custom Styles:
You can customize your site to look completely different from the default style that Notion provides.
You can inject your own CSS & font with snippet injection and you're done.
It's as simple as that.
I particularly love this feature because I can make my website look the way I want it and not be restricted by the default styles.
This is great flexibility to have and developers absolutely love this feature.
4. Integrations:
Potion provides integrations with tools like @gumroad, @Mailchimp, etc. These tools are very helpful in building online businesses.
These integrations make it stand out from its competitors.
For ex: You can self host an ebook website that you sell on Gumroad.
Here are some of the benefits of Potion:
- Nothing to install
- It's simple - focus more on your content
- Update and it's instantly live!
- Use Notion (You already know it)
- No page limits
- Potion generates pretty URLs and preview images auto-magically from your page titles
I haven't been this excited about a website builder for a long time.
There are a lot of people who don't know and don't want to get into the complexities involved in creating and hosting websites on their own.
Potion solves their problem by making it really simple.
