1. Why are they not passing on the hike in raw material prices to customers.
Is that because of competition from home and abroad.
2.If the business is so good with such high margins, what is stopping the likes of others to enter into their space.

My views :
1. They are not passing just to keep their customers happy . Sometimes to keep business relations smooth . Like how you give discount once and then stop it . Still maintained

China means they are producing cheaper and with better quality than china . Competitive advantage
2.because this was already tried by another FMCG but was unable to do . Technical know how . Simple they are getting revenue from China means even Chinese are not able to compete

3.thats why they do everything clean so that even if some problems pop they will be ahead atleast from their competitors as they have started giving focus earlier and not when government imposes policies

4.Yes the business is in a very niche segment with small sales unlike the other chemicals .if there is a substitute to what they make then the business can collapse .this is always a trouble in spec chemical companies . But management is confident to maintain 50%+ margins
