The nonsensical attempt was by the Translator, there's no mention of "Brahmin" in the Purana here.
The term is "MaharashtraDwija"
MahārāshtraDwijastasya YuddhaVidyaVishāradhaH|
Translates to:
"King Shivaji who was a Dwija (Kshatriya here) of Maharashtra, curated Ganimi Kava."
