Hemada Pant the great savant himself supervised the construction of many temples.
Here in this thread are some samples from the contemporary temples of his time.
1. Aundha Nagnath, Hingoli - a temple that he likely oversaw.
Walls and pillars are full of figurine
2. Gondeshvara Mahadeva, Sinnar
A pristine temple of Hemada Pant’s own time. Elaborate carvings on pillars and walls.
3. Pandharpur and nearby Vithal temples.
Look at the Shikharas with elaborately carved figures.
First one is a smaller shrine but very old, likely of Hemada Pant’s time, and other is newer one in the main parisara, still preserving the Hemadapanti design.
4. Bhimashankar Mahadev, Khed.
Unique thing about this excellent temple’s architecture is a whole garland of human figurine (siddhas and Yogis) sculpted on the entire circumference of the main shrine’s shikhara as if doing a continuous parikrama.
This temple is Hemadapanti.
5. Mankeshwar Mahadeva,
Zodage Malegaon.
Look at the elaboration on the shikhara and the detailed figurine all over the walls, on multiple stories.
6. Mahalakshmi Temple, Kolhapur
Solid example of Hemada Panti architecture.
The whole temple wall, inside and outside is full of figurine.
7. Hemadapanti Siddheshvar Mahadev,
Hottal Degloor, Nanded
The beautiful temple carries Hemadri’s name, and it is quite likely from his time as well.
Large figurine on the walls and in the nooks. Heavy elaboration and decorations everywhere
