Previously I explained how Chinese diaspora in the West is often discriminated with double standards:
Now I'm going to explain how Western double standards and hypocrisy also extends to China on a geopolitical level...
2/
When the West patrols Chinese coasts with gunboats, it is called "preserving freedom of navigation".
If China patrols Western waters with gunboats, they will be considered an act of aggression, espionage and a threat to Western national security.
3/
When the West refuses to stop provoking China, that is called "standing up to the Chinese".
When China pushes back against Western provocations, it is called aggressive, "wolf warrior diplomacy".
4/
When the West provides vaccines to a third world country, it is regarded as a noble, humanitarian aid.
When China provides vaccines to a third world country, it is regarded as "vaccine diplomacy".
5/
When the West lends money to a third world country, it is regarded as an act of generosity (even though the loan comes with strings attached and severe consequences if defaulted).
When China lends money to a third world country, it is automatically regarded as a "debt trap".
6/
When the West bombs and sanctions a country and topple its government, it is to protect the "freedom and human rights" of those people.
When China builds roads and bridges in those countries, it is considered an act of Chinese expansionism.
7/
When the West killed innocent civilians, bombed public buildings and droned an entire family by mistake, it is considered necessary to protect "democracy".
When Mao's policy mistakes caused some in China to starve in the 60s, it is considered "genociding its own people"!
8/
Western-built infrastructures are considered good and reliable, no matter how expensive and how many times they have fallen over.
Chinese-built infrastructures are looked down upon, even though they are many times more advanced, reliable and cheaper than Western offerings.
9/
The West can do no wrong. All Western acts are justifiable because it is done for the good of humanity (despite all evidences to the contrary).
China can do no right because the people are yellow and their government red. So they must be held guilty until proven innocent.
10/
The West will never allow an investigation on its biolabs... despite evidences that suggest they may be developing biological weapons.
China must always submit its biolabs to be inspected by the West repeatedly and in any way Western inspectors deem necessary.
11/
Western countries are expected to "stand up to China" when the Chinese retaliated against Western attacks on Chinese red lines.
On the other hand, China is expected to simply accept the West sabotaging its interests everywhere and destabilising its society.
12/
It is acceptable for the West to tell China one thing and do the opposite thing.
It is unacceptable for China to follow on with the thing that it warned it would do if the West crosses its red lines.
13/
It is acceptable for the West to blatantly interferes in the internal affairs of China.
But the West will never tolerate the Chinese doing the same to them.
14/
It is acceptable for the West to pursue Islamic terrorists across the globe and attempt to kill them regardless of the massive casualty to innocent lives.
It is unacceptable for China to attempt to deradicalise the Islamic terrorists within it own borders.
15/
It is acceptable for the West to surround China with hundreds of military bases and missile batteries.
It is unacceptable for China to grow its defensive capabilities in order to protect itself from Western imperialism.
16/
Western companies can collaborate with Western militaries in any capacity, and still be allowed to do business in China.
Any Chinese company suspected of having ties with the Chinese military is immediately flagged by the West and barred from Western markets.
17/
It is acceptable for the West to still have colonies in 2021 and even occupy sovereign countries in order to loot its resources.
It is unacceptable for China to impose Chinese laws on Chinese territories or take back a territory that it lost due to Western interference.
