I remember Hazrat Sheikh Yunus Jaunpuri rahimahullah once gave us a discourse at Madrasah In'aamiyah Masjid.
While giving us a lesson he perceived a few students turning to see for the source of some noise outside the masjid are...

Hazrat stopped the lesson, and reprimanded us and said,
"The first imtihan of a student is sincerity of his talab. If he can be distracted by worldly noises from the uloom from his teacher, then such a heart is not read to accept divine knowledge"
