From LOSING the first $45,000 I made as a 15-year-old.
(Yes, I've lost it all...)
To making $15,000 in a month from Instagram 5 months later (now I'm 16)
Here's my untold story:

Here's my untold story:
I remember my childhood, living in a 1 bedroom apartment with 6 other people.
My immigrant parents struggled a lot with money and I decided, from a very young age itself, that I wouldn't let that happen to me and my family for long.

Back in June 2019 (14 years old), I was selling candy to other kids in middle school.
Made a grand total of $100 profit from that side hustle.
And here's the thing...
The idea of being an entrepreneur didn't even cross my mind.
At best, I was meant to be your average doctor.

Because both my parents work in hospitals and they wanted me to get a safe job.
COMPLETELY the opposite of who I am today.
Anyway, school ended for the summer in 2019 and I was off. (till September)
"How am I gonna make money now" I was wondering...
I went to YT for answers.

"How am I gonna make money now" I was wondering...
I went to YT for answers.
I searched like everybody else "how to make money online" and went deep into the rabbit hole.
Watched 100s of videos about Dropshipping, reselling, trading, agencies, etc
Overwhelmed and anxious, I tried what sounded the easiest - paid surveys.

It took me weeks to make $100…
Got tired to death and told myself:
"One day I'm gonna have so much money coming in, I won't have to go penny-pinching from these GODDAMN surveys!"
And I believed it.
I started an Instagram account.

And mind you, I never had social media prior to this... I had zero idea how everything worked.
I didn't know what I was doing.
But the promise to myself was I'll produce AT LEAST one piece of content a day... (and see if something comes out of this)

I went through several personal dev and business books.
Fortunately, it was very easy to repurpose ideas from those books into diff pieces of content.
Wrote hundreds of posts about things like:
- productivity
- branding
- mindset
Even posted quotes & infographics all over IG.

And see... my age and lack of skill didn't stop me.
I knew my social media brand would go from nothing to AT LEAST something.
Time just had to catch up.
So, I started growing followers but...
I didn't make money off of them. Nada.

I only had around $300 in my bank account (August 2019).
And I knew what was missing... SKILLS. I needed skills to help people. Can't make it otherwise.
So, I enrolled in iman gadzhi's 6 fig agency course for $997.

Didn't even have that money, borrowed it from my parents and promised to pay them back.
(Hint: I did pay them back.)
I even keep a spreadsheet where I add whenever I borrow money from my parents and strike it off when I pay them back.

Anyways, that course established my foundation. I was introduced to some crazy marketing stuff. (sales, lead gen, systems, automation, etc)
Fast forward to February 2020, with the newly acquired skills, my focus was to build an online brand.
And that's what happened.

1000... 2000... new IG followers coming in each month
Officially achieved 10,000 followers in June 2020.
It was all crazy to me.
Then, I started getting tons of DMs like this:
"Niti, how can I grow on IG"
"Niti, I need IG consulting, please help me"

This was all new to me. I never charged anyone for anything before.
So I helped anyone and everyone for 100% free. Crazy right?
I made no money but... really upped my consulting and content marketing skills.
Which matters more than the money.

Then THIS happened:
A businesswoman wanted me to help her grow her IG.
I successfully helped her do it (by giving her golden nuggets and multiple 1-1s).
She was happy with the results and asked me this question:
Her: "Niti, what's your PayPal?"
Me: "@nitisarran, why?"

An hour later, I got a notification on my phone.
"You received $500"
I couldn't fucking believe it.
I realized I could get paid for my value at that moment.
Before that, it took me literally 6 months to make $27 from Instagram.
But that's when everything changed for me.

A couple of months later, I was already having $1k+ months as a 15-year-old.
I even had an ebook at the time called "The Ultimate Instagram Blueprint"
By November 2020, it already did $45,000 in sales.

I lost it all.
The platform I was using thought I was a fraud because of my age.
So, I ended up losing all $45,000.
I was embarrassed. A little confused and frustrated.
But there was nothing I could do... besides moving forward.

I sat down and made my next info product called IG empire.
The mission was to do what I did best - serve people on growing their social media.
Sales came in daily.
I still posted content consistently.
I even closed 1-1 calls for $150-200 hourly rates. (CHEAP for my value)

And that's when I had my first $15,000 month. At 16 years old.
Fast forward to the end of 2021, I've officially done over $60,000 profit.
Pretty sure I'll hit 6 figures in April 2022. While my classmates play Fortnite.
Anyway, there’s a lot of wisdom in my journey.

Even though I'm just getting started.
When I was a broke nobody, I believed that if I gained enough skills and confidence, I could become a person worthy of more money.

I created value. Helped people. And got paid for it.
It's possible. Focus on the journey and you'll be in a much better place.
Trust the process.
