Muslims/muslim nations are poor because of Islam?๐งต:
1. As Muslims, we don't give much value to the material possessions. Wealth or poverty in a nation & religion are 2 separate things. Being poor has no effect of being on Haq. There is no relationship b/w being from a backward or developed country & being of the correct faith. 1/n

Atheists and others use the argument that Muslims are poor in technical skills to call into question the validity of the belief.
Allah says in the Quran:

That in no way does mean that we should not advance in the science, in fact, it is encouraged in the Islam.

Man's need for the message is greater than his need for anything.

The Prophet, excited his companions and taught them that these civilized societies need us more than we need them. They have the means while we have the ends.

These were the words of the great companion Rabi bin Amir that he said to Rustam, the Persian leader.

2. Now, let's examine this issue from their perspective:
The Muslim nations are not poor coz of the Islam, whoever says so is ignoring the history. Islamic civilization was one of the most advanced civilizations of its time. The 'Islamic Golden Age' is one such example. 8/n

Muslim empires around various parts of the world such as the Mughal empire were the wealthiest. Under the Mughal Empire, India became the world's largest economy and manufacturing powerhouse, generating about a quarter of the world's GDP. 9/n
3. The Colonialism:
The reason these countries were impoverished was colonialism. The colonialists sucked the wealth from these nations & left them in great poverty. In these countries there was no economic development or peace whereas the colonizers extracted the wealth. 10/n

The more wealth they extracted the more they were able to do R&D (Research and development) & the more they advanced in science & technology. Infact colonialism never Ended, it still exists, the West has repeatedly attacked these nations and interferes with each country. 11/n
Installs and controls the puppet rulers of these nations by virtue of which they are never able to come out of this poverty. 12/n

Measuring the happiness or the development of individual civilians using these indicators is unfair. But, they use these indicators to validate their point that Islam is the obstacle to development & their secular liberalism & HRs are the means to it. 13/n

North America is at around $61,000,
Western Europe at around $54,000,
Australia at $51,000, NZ at $41,000.
Where as:
Eatern Europe is at around $8,000 - $9,000,+ 14/n

Why so much inequality, why is not every country that's irreligious or where there is no islam or little islam backwards.
One of the oldest democracies & so called human rights respecting country Botswana has only at around $6,000 GDP per capita that's 1/10th of U.S. 16/n

Latin America, Eastern Europe, Subsaharan Africa Has lower Life expectancy rate Than North America, Western Europe etc.
