The earliest of the so called "Christian" writers Irenaeus and Tertullian never mention anything like Christmas as to be in the list of feasts.
In fact, both Origen & Arnobius crit Pagans for celebrating birthdays.

Arnobius, a christian apologist does ridicules the birthday of "Gods" in his Adversus Nationes.
He died in 330 AD. This certainly makes clear that celebrating the birthday of "Jesus" in church made no sense till early 4th century.
