Thread of Soviet New Year's propaganda (mostly cards and posters) from the Second World War.
Quick note: by 1941, New Year had almost entirely replaced Christmas as the USSR's main winter holiday, though much of the latter's imagery - the trees, the figure of Ded Moroz etc - persisted.
