There is a clear difference between a resume and an academic cv. Profile summary and skills are a better fit for your resume.
If you are cold emailing a Professor this year or applying for graduate school, please learn how to write an academic CV!
In 2022, except required, please do not include gender, no of kids and wives, nationality, high and elementary schools, religion, and next of kin in your CV.
It's appropriate to also have different versions for different continents. I currently have about 6 with or without a professional headshot.
I got my Ph.D. and postdoc offers with a tabularized but well-written and catchy CV.
I no longer use that again.
For those that are new here, you can download my CV template via my website, YouTube channel or Twitter pinned posts.
A lot of scholars attested to how valuable it is.
I actually prefer the latest one because you can use it anywhere except in the case of Europass.
