12 Life Lessons worth learning from Harry Potter
Thread
~ Those who don't believe in Magic will never find it ~
We all love magic. And what better than Harry Potter when we talk about magic
BUT this thread is NOT about magic. 😀
It gives us the Life Lessons which are more important than any magic 👇
1. True friendship is the biggest treasure
Harry, Ron and Hermione prove that real friendship forges an unbreakable bond which is beyond any relationship
With true friends it doesn’t matter if you argue or fight, because at the end of the day, they’ll always have your back
2. Face your fears
Whether it was as simple as saying a frightful name to take away its power or facing one giant spider, and a thousand little ones, confronting fears proved powerful in the Potterverse
So, face your fears and move through them
3. If you need help, ask for it
Harry had one flaw: His first instinct when facing danger was to face it alone.
But he always found out that a little help from his teachers, the groundskeeper, the headmaster, and a whole lot of help from his friends, was the only way to win
4. True love lasts, always
Love is a strong theme throughout the books.
If you love someone completely it can never be undone.
Lily’s love for Harry granted him protection and Snape’s love for Lily shaped his path after her death. True love lasts forever
5. Money isn’t everything
Harry may have inherited a whole vault of gold from his parents, but it couldn’t buy him the thing he perhaps yearned for the most: the family that was lost to him.
While Ron had grown up using hand-me-downs but his home was full of love and life.
6. Be a doer, not a dreamer
When faced with a mirror that brought one's ultimate fantasies into focus, Dumbledore told Harry:
"It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live."
Smallest of actions is always better than biggest of thoughts
7. The most harmful action is inaction
"Indifference and neglect often do much more damage than outright dislike," Dumbledore warned in "Order of the Phoenix."
Take that step, it will either be wrong or right. But at least you would have moved a bit forward
8. Older doesn't mean wiser
So many of the best lessons are in Dumbledore's words, including his words about where wisdom is often found
"Age is foolish and forgetful when it underestimates youth"
In these times, this lessons resonates more than ever. Respect the young
9. Believe in Yourself
Ron taught us this important lesson during his Quidditch match, when he thought he had Harry’s liquid luck. As it turned out, he didn’t have it; he was a champion all on his own.
If you don't believe in yourself, no one will. It is as simple as that
10. Community is important
Hogwarts would have fallen to the Dark Arts if it hadn’t been for Dumbledore’s Army. It is the group that matters.
You can never do anything alone.

11. Everyone dies, but some never really live
"Don't pity the dead, Pity the living, and above all, all those who live without love." ~ Dumbledore
These words sum up perfectly how many people just go through their lives, rather than fully living each moment
12. Magic exists, even for us Muggles
There’s a certain magic we all experience at some point or another in our lives.
The magic we come across can be found in the people, places, and things around us.
There’s magic in travelling, writing, reading, music, friendship and love.
