I consider this fractal / setup pretty "advanced" but I was working on this usdchf image so I'm sharing, and it can offer a segway into discussing various component parts as concepts themselves. doing this on the fly might turn into bit of a thread...
something I always bear in mind is price rarely truly reverses with the pa circled red. I consider this a range level, whereas the "deviation" I look for in reversals are more like a V shape. This would have been a decent long setup for me after an inefficiency fill to the left.
notice how I use a clean ltf range to not only anticipate the reversal after a price move outside of a range, but also as my entry structure and risk definition/invalidation. Ltf ranges WITHIN A WIDER CONTEXT
think about the wider context in these examples. reversal or continuation?
an example of "good context"
