Hi @satyajithpinku,
We are glad that you were able to take advantage of the early access offer! Let us address your concerns raised in this tweet ( via a ๐Ÿงตhere
๐Ÿ‘‡We are taking it as feedback for ourselves to communicate the benefits of Genius better :)
๐Ÿ‘‰Firstly, as a Genius member, you don't get access to any analytics. If you are referring to #PortfolioHealth, we would like to clarify that it's available to every ET Money user irrespective of them being a #Genius member or not.
๐Ÿ‘‰Secondly, as a Genius member, you get access to personalized investment strategies i.e. Investment Strategies for your short, medium, or long-term life goals as per your #InvestorPersonality and #RiskScore.
๐Ÿ‘‰In total, there are 6 #investment strategies based on our in-house Dynamic Asset Allocation model that allocates in Indian Equities, International Equities, Debt, and Gold.
๐Ÿ‘‰Each of these 6 investment strategies - namely, Shield, Stable, Balanced, Balanced Plus, Growth, and High Growth - can be executed via investing into Portfolios of primarily Passive/Index Mutual Funds OR Stocks & ETFs. The choice is based on you, the investor๐Ÿ˜Ž
๐Ÿ‘‰If you choose a #MutualFund way to execute, you will right now see only @NipponIndiaMF. However, soon @ICICIPruMF, @abslmf Mutual Funds are soon going live with their own respective index offerings. And we are expecting more AMCs to come on board too.
๐Ÿ‘‰However, since domestic/ Indian Equity allocation is executed via the Passive/Index Fund route, the returns are similar/ same, except for the tracking error.
๐Ÿ‘‰For your information, Indian Equity allocations are via respective index fund of the AMCs' funds tracking NIFTY 50, NIFTY Next 50, Midcap & Small Cap indices of NSE.
๐Ÿ‘‰Gold, by definition, is passive again. We use low-risk Short-term for Debt allocation. And Passive FoF or rule-based investment funds for International in most cases.
๐Ÿ‘‰You may ask, why #ETMoney chose one fund house always to execute....or will it continue to be the same even when @ICICIPruMF, @abslmf, and others join, the answer is Yes. ๐Ÿ‘‡
๐Ÿ‘‰This is because it helps in 1-tap rebalancing via Switch transactions. And since, to reiterate, these are Passive Portfolios, the #returns are expected to be similar/same irrespective of the #AMC you chose.
Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any queries that you may have.๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ˜‡
