GW 23 Notes - Teams ✍️
🟣 Burnley - 2 clean sheets in GW 23. With lots of upcoming DGWs, it might be time to invest in Burnley’s defensive options.
🟑 Watford - First CS of the season in Hodgson’s first game. Might be more solid now, potentially making Foster a better pick.
GW 23 Notes - Players ✍️
πŸ”΄ Robertson - 2 assists and 3 BPs vs Palace, playing on a great level right now. The best option for that 3rd Liverpool slot maybe?
πŸ’Ž Laporte - Another goal for the most attacking CB in the league. That’s now 4 attacking returns in 5 games.
GW 24 Fixture to Target:
πŸ’Ž MCI vs BRE
Brentford have conceded 16 goals in their last 6 away games. Man City on the other hand have scored 2.9 goals per game at home this season, making them huge favourites vs Brentford meaning that this is a fixture to target in FPL.
GW 24 Player Recommendation:
Which players you can bring in totally depends on your chip strategy. If you don’t want to FH in GW 27, focus on players from teams that double in GW 25/26 and play in GW 27, such as Man United, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Spurs.
GW 24 Player to avoid:
Given the fact that Mohamed Salah has played 120 minutes of football 4 times in only 12 days, I highly doubt that he’s ready to start vs Leicester in GW 24. If you own him, keep him, but don’t spend a transfer on bringing him in.
GW 24 Tips πŸ’‘
πŸ”Ή If your team needs it, wildcarding in GW 24 is a viable strategy.
πŸ”Ή Prioritise bringing in players with upcoming DGWs.
πŸ”Ή If possible, roll a transfer. That way to don’t need to decide on a strategy until next GW.

GW 24 Captaincy
1) Kevin De Bruyne - πŸ’°12.2
Fixture: BRE (H)
Brentford (H) is as good as it gets for City, and KDB is expected to start having been subbed off after 70 mins in the FA Cup. He has 4 goals and 2 assists in his last 7 PL games, making him a superb captaincy pick.
2) Joao Cancelo - πŸ’°7.1
Fixtures: BRE (H)
The always so attacking fullback combines his attacking threat with a 62% clean sheet chance this GW. With his potential to deliver points at both ends of the pitch, Cancelo is one of the standout captains in GW 24.
3) Diogo Jota - πŸ’°8.4
Fixture: LEI (H)
Liverpool still have an elite attack despite being without Salah and ManΓ©, and we all saw how exposed the Leicester defence got in their FA Cup game. I expect Liverpool to score at least 2 goals, so Jota is an excellent captaincy option.
GW 24 Captaincy - Differential
Phil Foden - πŸ’°8.0
Fixture: BRE (H)
Captaining Foden is a high risk high reward move that could pay off massively. It’s impossible to guarantee that he starts vs Brentford but if he does, he has serious haul potential.
Other captaincy options worth mentioning:
πŸ”΄ Trent
🟣 Bowen
βšͺ️ Son
πŸ”΄ Bruno
πŸ”΄ Ronaldo
βšͺ️ Kane
GW 24 Differential picks:

Chip Strategy 🧠
Important GWs to consider:
🟒 = DGW
🟑 = DGW & BGW
πŸ”΄ = BGW
Chip strategy is obviously very team dependant, but I have listed 6 different chip strategies that I like below ‡️
My personal chip strategy:
TC 26 (Salah)
FH 27
Transfers for GW 30
WC 32/34/35
FH 33
BB 36
GW 24 Wildcard πŸ“Š
If you’re wildcarding this GW, I would recommend going for something like this (with money in the bank for Bruno to Salah in GW 26) ‡️
GW 27 is easy to navigate with the below team, so you won’t need to FH.
GW 24 Bus Team 🚌
1 FT, 5.4m ITB.
I’m very likely to roll the transfer this GW and decide on a chip strategy next week.
This was part 24 of 38, I write a GW Thread for every GW of the season so if you liked the format, drop a follow for more threads like this πŸ™Œ
