1/N: Intellectual stalwarts like Pappuni from the Indian National Congress have told us that Hijab is a choice & a right. Here are some facts about Hijab, not the type that is manufactured by the offsprings of the Italian Rajmata, (who by the way is not even a high-school grad)
2/N: Unlike most opportunist politicians & clueless woke liberals, knowledgable mu$lims know that veil for a mu$lim woman is a MUST, not a choice. Quran 24:31 demands that Mu$lim women lower their gaze..and draw their VEILS over their chests.
3/N: Prophet "receives" more instruction on how a woman should cover herself. Quran 33:59 actually uses the words Jilbab (a large sheet) and adna (wrap up). A woman must wrap herself up with a large sheet to cover their body except eyes or on eye.
4/N: Often when prophet wanted a verse to be revealed, conveniently Allah would reveal it just in time. In this case, one of Prophet's wives (Sawdah bint Zam'ah) was spotted by someone when she took a stroll outside to attend call of nature. This is when Hijab-verse was revealed
5/N: Prophet is very clear in declaring that Allah does NOT accept the prayer of a woman who has reached puberty if she is not wearing a veil
6/N: Hadith also makes it clear that a Muslim woman has to wear veil even in the front of a male slave, if he has the ability to purchase his freedom by paying a full price
7/N: On the other hand, female slaves would remain unveiled perhaps for the viewing pleasure of the pious Mu$lim men work worked hard to earn such "spoils of war". Prophet led with example in this case.
8/N: Just wearing a veil is not enough, it has to be thick. I did not find the exact measurement specification, but I know for sure it cannot be thin.
9/N: Because strict instructions for when & how to wear a veil are provided in Quran, a Mu$lim woman who is not following them is committing a sin in the eyes of I$lamic theology & legal system.
10/N: Quran itself does not provide a specific punishment for disobeying the rules of veil. But a Ta'zir (legal punishment that is given for committing any sin for which there is no Hadd or Kaffarah in Shariah) ALWAYS applies for abstaining from an obligatory act
11/n: Police in I$lamic states routinely arrest and punish Islamic women who do not wear veil in public places. Attached is a news item from Iran.
12/N: In the pure I$lamic land of Pakistan, they are ahead when it comes to enforcing I$lamic rules. Here is a news item about how a Pakistani politician was killed for not maintaining proper dress code.
13/N: Even when Pakistanis immigrate to western nations, they carry their notion of Sharia laws with them. Here is a news item where a young girl Aqsa Parvez was killed in Ontario, Canada by her own brother.
14/N: Pakistan is not the only I$lamic nation where these incidents take place. It happens in pretty much all Mu$lim states.
15/N: On a lighter note, the material for veil must been very attractive to Arab males too. Here is a reference how Prophet's son-in-law decided to use the veil for himself even though it was meant for ladies.🤷♂️ Apparently prophet was not too happy about it.
