There is very little you can do as a CEO when your country πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ is on the edge of a full-scale war.
But at such times everyone has to play their role at best. We have 40 employees and 100s of Ukrainian developers in our network.
Right now it is my job to make their lives easier.
The war between Ukraine and Russia started 8 years ago, and we kinda got used to the stress and uncertainty.
Lately, events have been escalating, and western media have been spreading even more panic. Today we sat down with our team to talk about our plans.
Sharing bellow:
Cash.
β€’ we're paying 2 months worth of salary in advance to our employees
β€’ developers will get payouts 2Ρ… more often
β€’ we'll try to generate enough cash in case banks fail to provide services
Support.
β€’ if anyone has to or volunteers to protect us against the enemy, we will keep their jobs and pay them full salary while they are at war
β€’ those who stay in regions under attack will keep their jobs and get fully paid
β€’ we will relocate those who feel unsafe
Shelter.
In case of a full-scale war and absence of internet/phone connection, we set up an address in a western city, Lviv, where they can get assistance with accommodations.
Company.
We are strong and have enough runway to live up to a year if most developers/startups leave.
Most importantly, I talked about how critical it is to keep calm and think and act straight. Panic only works in favor of an enemy.
Stay safe.

Thanks to everyone for an incredible support here and in DM’s.
I got a few offer to assisting in relocation. First, most people don’t want to leave Ukraine.
Second πŸ‘‡
