This is extremely exciting to me. #LostArk mid-grade T3 gear is available on launch content already. Normally this level of gear doesn't appear before the Argos raid next month. However, exclusive to the western version, this gear caps out at item level 1490, or +20.
In other #LostArk regions, this gear maxed out at +25, item level 1575. It had caused an issue where the item level cap was far too high for that level of content, and Smilegate had to fill out the content between. They're solving a major issue in the west preemptively.
This is probably mumbo jumbo to most, so I'll summarize in one concise line: the gap between whale players and F2P/casual players in #LostArk has been drastically reduced in the west in this section of the game. It could have been a major issue repeated had it not been addressed.
This gear being available on launch content also means that the process of increasing your item level to challenge higher phases of the Argos raid is MUCH smoother now in #LostArk, whereas before you needed to the gear FROM Argos to progress meaningfully.
Also, before freaking out at the 3% success rate, note that you will be on this section of gearing for several months before moving on to a higher 'tier' via Legion Raid progression. Take your time. Vertical progression in #LostArk T3 slows down greatly at this stage.
