A 1697 Slavonic altar Gospels printed at the Monastery of the Caves in Kiev during the reign of Peter the Great. The binding is polished brass, the upper board showing Christ surrounded by the Evangelists, Mary and John, the lower board with an elaborate Tree of Jesse image. 1/
