A follower sent me the following video to check out with regards to Indo Aryan genetics. This video is so bad that its sort of a low hanging fruit, but I want to indulge. The video link is below, feel free to check it out. Hosted by @sagorika_s featuring @Amritanshu_SoA 1/n

@Amritanshu_So (AP hereafter) states something interesting about reality checks. I am going to attempt to do something similar. Poor, outdated and straight-up false knowledge on Indo European/Indo Aryan genetics in this podcast/interview 3/n
Genetics sections starts at 38.06
Around 45:20, @sagorika_s starts talking about Ancient Ancestral North Indian; an ancestry that DOES NOT EVEN EXIST IN ANY GENETICS PAPERS. AP, who is an “expert” didn’t point this out and kept talking about this imaginarily published AANI 4/n
46:00 Aryan Race/Dravidian race. The concept of race itself is not used by modern day anthropologists as its an outdated concept. I would like AP or S to show me where in the Narasimhan/reich/rai paper has these words been used. 5/n
AP is refuting an argument that was never even made in the first place! Fighting imaginary demons? 48:20 There is no AANI! @Amritanshu_SoA Why are you making up ancestry and then talking about it? 6/n
50:21 If u “may be” wrong on the details then better is to not make that point that can leave you embarrassed infront of people watching this gibberish. What you said absolutely did not happen. This is exactly opposite to what happened and what reich wrote in his 2018 book. 7/n
Thangaraj and Singh threatened to axe the project because they didn’t like the name “West Eurasians”. This whole segment about “AANI” is just pure gibberish with no iota of truth. [Who we are and how we got here, Reich, 2018 pg 134-135] 8/n
53:58 A basic fact that haplogroups are not “ancestries” but autosomal components are “ancestries” completely alludes you. If there was an Indian admix in Japanese, that particular ancestry would be called an Indian ancestry,9/n
but again, @Amritanshu_SoA I don’t think that you have even read basic genetics papers, let alone going as far as “demolishing” Aryan Migration Theory.ASI/ANI are not used anymore since these terms are confusing, 10/n
we talk in terms of Iranian related, AASI type or Steppe Ancestries [very broadly about Indians] .I could bear listening to this interview anymore given the abysmal factoids given in this podcast. 11/n
also @Amritanshu_SoA ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
Here is the reich paper, I dont think you have read it, so give it a read. 12/n
