this new Civilisation IMO was built on three legs Secularism, Nehruvian Socialism & “Scientific Temper”.

The Communal Harmony which Nehru flouted was imo Empty Rhetoric and an early case of virtue-Signalling, Where one communities Orthodoxy was considered necessary and the other Community was ripped from even its basic survival structure of institutions & Community Hubs .
This I think was enabled by Nehru bcos he believed in “Hindu Reform” which in his definition most probably, The Further Refinement of The Macaulayan Indian and to rip the cultural and institutional support of The Hindus (which he did) and we see the result of this by seeing the
by seeing the Isolation of many Hindus from their cultural ethos and The Adoption of many foreign Ethos and Culture and demeaning of their own due to lack of knowledge and Community Support.

This thesis of The Republic just further amplifies the point of why importing Foreign Ideology Blandly in Indian Ethos is an Acceleration Tool . India blindly became the followers of Soviet Union between 1950s till Gorbachev. This regressive policy of guarding Local Industries
of India Corrupt and Decadent, So when Liberation of 1992 happened these companies got blown off very Badly and Shut their Businesses , So here goes the second leg of The Nehruvian Republic.
