Imagine yourself in a library. 📚
Between sweet smell of books & N number of wooden shelves, you want your favourite book.
Now, will you browse the whole library one by one for that book or just visit the particular section the book belongs to?
95% will choose the second option.
• It's smarter.
• Time saver.
Well, then why don't we do the same while picking stocks?
It's because we either don't have the right tools or the right knowledge.
Don't worry!
Ticker hai na💙
Finding the stocks you want is a 3 step process:
1. Visit ticker.finology.in
2. Type what you want in a stock
3. Get results.
It's free. You only have to do simple signup or login if you are an existing user.
If you are new to reading, you ask others for some suggestions or search for the best books to read.
In the same manner, if you are new to stock picking, you can visit any of the sample screens to get an idea of how it works.
Let's try it.
A. Click on "Run Screen" button on Promoter Rich.
B. Here you get a list of 82 companies where promoters have more than 70% stake.
C. Every quarter when the company releases new shareholding, the list changes accordingly.
What if you want a list where promoters have more than 80% stake?
➡️Edit the query and write 80 in place of 70
➡️Click on Run Screener
➡️Voila! You have just moved from 82 companies to a list of 15 companies in a matter of seconds.😍
2. Type what you want in a stock
If you have come this far, you might be knowing what you want in a stock or company.
It can be:
• High sales growth.

...and many more.
But how to filter based on this?🤔
Again Simple.
A. Visit ticker.finology.in
B. Click on "Go to Screener"
C. Type what you wish for.
D. Set a range like sales growth greater than 20 or loss less than 10.
Let's try it.

What if I want to revisit this list later on. Can I save it?
Yesssssss.
Click on the "Save Screen" button below the list. You have to name the screen and a basic explanation if you wish.

Let's discuss some benefits:
• Filters your stock lists from 1000s to just 100s or even 10s.
• Sort the list based on your choice.
• Use a variety of Ratios.
One last example on how to find good Banks.⤵️
There are more than 30 banks in India and among them you want to filter some good banking stocks.
Now you don't need to study all 30+ banks.
✅Simply think of banking ratios and filter them in ticker.finology.in
You want banks with:
• Good Assets growth
• Low Bad loans or NPA
• Sufficient Margins
• High CASA ratio
You will enter these in the screener and see the results. ⤵️
HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, IDFC First Bank are some of the results you get.
Now you only have to spend time researching these banks rather than all. 😅
