Looking for a job in crypto/web3?
Below are some resources and tactics to get into companies you might find exciting. This thread will be updated overtime. I'm going to share my favorite web3 job boards and some tricks strategies for people w/ no connections.

Create a portfolio of web3 work
Similar to learning app development, creating a fork of a popular app like Aave, Opensea, or Uniswap on Ropsten Testnet can help showcase your level of understanding of how to build/use dapps in the space. Showing design improvements works too.
Going to conferences.
Attending conferences such as ETHDenver or EthCC and participating in hackathons is a great way to get noticed. Don't also restrict yourself to just ETH. Solana had conferences recently too. Have seen whole startup teams poached into dev teams.
Going to companies you like and searching if they are hiring on Linkedin, Twitter, Reddit, and their own native website. Take for example SandBox, they are hiring through website and linkedin.

Build an online presence:
- If you are a trader, post your trades and showcase charts, show PNL
- Write threads on projects and why you think they are different
- If you are a dev or designer, talk about about improvements you made on repos or dapps. (become a contributor)
Can't stress this one enough build an online precense isn't just twitter!
Create a newsletter if you are a trader with comprehensive breakdowns of projects and charts. @smallcapscience is a sample
Write your dev journey like @jennifer_tieu2.
Get active on linkedin and more.
Cold DMING projects and sitting in discord servers and showcasing your design portfolio, github contributions, placing your resume, and attaching a calendar link. You'd be surprise how well this works for conversions into a conversation.
Higher Risk Strategy:
Tracking forks on GitHub that of popular projects like Aave or Compound or any popular repository. This gives a lot of leads to get early in telegrams or discord servers. You can also look at new contracts being uploaded on the blockchain.
Joining NFT projects and being active in non-general chat. Often NFT projects have a design chat or developer chat. Going in there and showcasing your design portfolio, resume, and github also work extremely well.
Putting a quick deck together outlining your proposal goes a long way–flexing your muscles on complex problem-solving. (From @jayks17's thread). If you aren't a developer or designer, make decks to show how you would go about costs, time to deliver work, and execute.
Don't get scared by experience requirements. Honestly it's just a way to weed out people who lack confidence in their abilities. Go out and showcase your ability to work and tell teams "let me prove myself". There is hardly ever a perfect candidate for companies either.
Be persistent. Every job experience, every failed company, every failed trade, can be turned into a lesson. Every part of your journey molds you into who you are in the future.
