If you go to Github today, you can see a lot of repositories to implement various "methods to fight Russians" like browser ddos attacks and traffic redirection
Now many people want to help Ukrainians somehow. In this 🧵, I'll tell you what are some constructive ways to do this
If you live in Europe, find a website dedicated to helping Ukrainian refugees in your country (if you don't have one yet, create one). Even if you don't have space in your home, you can help with transportation or services (ex: translation of documents)🧵
You can also offer your help to various international charities, which now invite people from all over the world to cooperate🧵🇺🇦
Ukrainian developers have made a huge contribution to the development of #opensource software. You can give them stars on Github to Ukrainian projects, tell about them in your social networks or sponsor them.🧵🇺🇦
Here is another list of Ukrainian repositories on Github. You can contact their creators, offer them remote work or work with relocation to your country.🧵🇺🇦
If you yourself are a developer, you can create sites with the information help of Ukrainian refugees. Here is an example of a Romanian project to monitor the situation at border crossing points.🧵🇺🇦
If you have your own IT company, you can provide temporary free access to your services for Ukrainian citizens. This is especially relevant for telecom operators and VPN-providers. Dozens of companies have already done so.🧵🇺🇦
Many IT-companies have now refused to provide their services to Russian users. This too can be an effective measure, once again drawing people's attention to the problem🧵🇺🇦
Even putting the Ukrainian flag on your site will help draw the attention of as many people as possible to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
This can be done simply by inserting a link to one of the special scripts in the source code🇺🇦🧵

You can also contact representatives of numerous Ukrainian IT communities and ask if they need any help.
You can also support their projects with money, stars, and reposts on social networks.🇺🇦🧵
