1) It's not like parties don't know that backlash will happen to what they do against GCs. It's just that Parties know that this backlash is controllable.

For a backlash to be successful it needs support from elites of those group but..

..that is not enough. Common people must have enemy mentality for that backlash to be successful. Unless they have it they can't hit the streets for protests & without a presence on the street no one takes you seriously tbh.

In the case of GCs, even after being larger in number, there is no realization on the part of the system that GCs can impose a cost.

In the absence of any effective, articulative & legally strong organzation you need big names like celebs, sportsmen, actors, businessmen constantly taking risk of losing business & work to highlight the suffering to make sure the voice of those who are subdued is not silenced.

I'm more than sure than easily 95% (if not more) GCs don't even know that there is a law called SCSTAct that is not even sparing kids,women,old of GCs.
