1- Using the width:
To go through the sides, the team must rotate in
the side corridors. Full-backs or wide midfielders
must go wide when their team is in possession to stretch the opp. block & to use either the free space on the sides or a situation of # superiority (2v1).

2- Changing the point of attack:
In order to disorganize the opponent in the flanks, the team which has the ball tries to attract the opp. team to one side to then play quickly to the other side (where the density is less) by a switch or a sequence of quick passes.

3- Passes in 2s, 3s:
We find the fundamentals of the game in 2s & 3s which must allow going through the sides. Thus the situations proposed in the sessions below can also be used by working them in the side corridors.
The one/two passes, the one/two/three, the over/underlaps.

4- Crossing:
When the difference is on the sides, the crosses allow creating an opportunity in front of the goal for a (shot – layoff – header).
In this theme of work, the crosses will be numerous.
The coach can ask his players a variety of crosses.
