Journaling - A Visual Thread
To me, journaling is your Spotify 'Daily Mix' for $BTC, $ETH etc
It's a library of data that you're building upon yourself so you can understand when you trade best at, the best set ups for you, & what doesn't work.
(Link to a free journal below)
Firstly, here's the link to a journal that I made for you guys.
We cover all of this in Module 5 in my pinned tweet - it's all free to use
bit.ly
Second, you need to establish a trading plan and some ground rules for yourself.
Here's an example below
Then you need to understand how to manage risk (see visual thread of mine from yesterday) - also check the image below
This is how you build a responsible position size
After you've made a trade, win or lose, you need to track it in detail so that your library on you is a true repository of information
There's no point cutting corners here - you'll only undermine yourself if you don't track it properly
Then there's also a section for debriefing yourself
You should ask if you traded your plan, emotions experienced etc (don't worry, it's all in the shared google sheet from the second tweet in this thread)
I also made a traffic light system that will give you visual prompts with how you feel that you went with your trades.
If you're seeing too much red, then you need to change things up a bit, similar to a few too many yellows here and there.
Greens are of course, good.
Advanced Calc 1 of 3
There's also an advanced position size calculator that you can use for either spot or leverage trading
Advanced Calc 2 of 3
Advanced Calc 3 of 3
So there you go, a free journal that I made, plus a mini crash course on how to use it!
Please share this is you feel that it was or is helpful - any likes or RT's go a long way.
If you want to read more, go and check out my pinned tweet
Cheers guys
