In that video @rustyrockets is talking mostly about the threats to democracy in Canada, but he has also been talking critically about the filtering of information we are allowed to hear about Ukraine.
The justification appealed to by US, UK and France for intervening militarily in Syria was the allegation of chemical weapons use in Douma. But that allegation has been seriously challenged by OPCW whistleblowers.
Let’s suppose the Skripals were poisoned with Novichok produced by Russia. How strong evidence of an undeclared chemical weapons programme would that be? Porton Down also has sample amounts, according to Boris Johnson (around 4:50 in this interview).

Or you might think that Johnson’s answer to the question about Porton Down having samples is not actually clear. But that would leave unanswered the interviewer’s question about how the novel nerve agent was so quickly identified.
