Not only that, but Steven Croder (@scrowder) who is a man, dressed up as a woman, called himself Sea Mattheson, and digitally presented the paper at the virtual conference for PhD's and tenured professors ... and nobody at the conference could tell that the paper was a joke.

In the same way the mafias buys real businesses, then runs criminal profits through then to make the money look legitimate, woke activists take over universities, them run false woke ideas through them to make wokeness look legitimate.

All of this means that the universities are slowly being hollowed out by academic and political corruption on the one hand, and a loss of rigor owning to the adoption of woke ideas on the other.

Until we stop letting ourselves be threatened, cajoled, browbeaten and bullied, into accepting lies this is going to continue.
But lies always collapse eventually because reality is the thing you crash into when your beliefs are false, and reality gets the final word.
