I’m so glad I learned Sanskrit and Greek in lockdown. They’re such hard languages. I got no time to study languages now, busy due to work and other things; however, just 20 mins of daily reading is enough to have 100% language retention now.
And I am very glad I hammered myself by reading pure shastric sanskrit from the start and can easily read it now.
You guys should do the same, and stop being headless chickens relying on “translations” when studying Indian philosophy & theology.
Stop wasting your time with “shuddh hindi” or “shuddh tamil” and just learn Sanskrit properly. You will automatically know Shuddh Hindi.
Just memorizing Sanskrit words is going to do nothing for you.

Here is a thread I made on how to learn Sanskrit.
If you are Hindu/Buddhist you need to be knowing Sanskrit, if you’re Christian/Pagan you need to know Latin/Greek and if you’re Confucian/Daoist then Classical Chinese.
Just learn your civilization’s classical language. Stop relying on academia and their translations.
