A woman's gendered identity as_a_woman isn't annihilated if a man cheats. He has totally betrayed her, but he hasn't undermined her in the same way that a woman cheating does to a man. When a woman cheats she's emasculating / castrating him. It's degrading on a whole other level.
Neither is justified. Both are awful. But they're different because a man can be a fuckface cheater but still love a woman & not harbour contempt for her. A woman can't love a man she's emasculating in that way. She has contempt for him as a man. It's different! Sorry. Not sorry.
