Al-Aʾmāsh said, "We smelt a Jinn amongst us, so I said to him, 'What food is most beloved to you?' So he replied, 'Rice.' Then we brought some to him, and when I placed it down, I saw the morsels being lifted and I did not see anyone [lifting them]...
...So I said, 'Are there these [People of] Desires amongst you that are amongst us?' He replied, 'Yes.' So I said, 'So are the Rāfidha amongst you?' He said, '[They are] the most evil of our kind.'"
Ibn Kathīr said, "I presented this isnād (chain of narration) to our Shaykh Al-Ḥāfidh Abil-Ḥajjāj Al-Mizzī, so he said, 'The chain is authentic to Al-Aʾmāsh.'"
