I'm a really average guy. I have kids, a wife, a house, a mortgage, a job, a cat, even a fucking family van. I also control my own keys and this will never change. But if politicians treat me like a criminal I'm prepared to act like a criminal.
I want to add to this, I don't have a lot of followers so I'm prepared to lose a few to paint a picture. You think I'm right wing? 5 yrs ago I voted for the green party. I was a bitcoiner even then. I'm a toxic male? I moved to another city because my wife found her dream job.
I'm not special. I'm not a fanatic. I don't have a shitload of money. A few years ago I started to save in bitcoin because I don't like banks, I don't like the financial system. 98% of our savings are now on a so called unhosted wallet. But I'm prepared to never cash out.
I want to add further: I'm not an anarchist. I profited a lot from the system established in my country. Free health care. Free education. In that way I'm very privileged. And thankful. I'm not interested in burning things down.
One thing I simply can't agree with. A few people in control of the most important thing our society is based on: money. I believe in Satoshis vision. I think everybody and nobody should be in control. Bitcoin is the most important thing in our and our kids lifetime.
