Here are Simple Solutions for 15 Problems that You face on a Daily Basis

1. Feeling low
- Take a walk in nature
- Get some sunlight
- Eat a banana or dark chocolate
- A quick sprint
- 15 mins of meditation
2. Not feeling motivated to work
- Take a small, easy task and complete it (e.g. send that mail, pay that bill..)
- Clean your work area
- Break big task in chunks
- Take a quick break
3. Feeling lethargic after lunch
- Take a power nap
- Have a shot of caffeine
- Listen to upbeat music
- Take a walk
- Splash cold water on your face
- Chew gum
4. Angry at your spouse/ partner
- Remove yourself from the situation for a while
- Think about the good qualities of your spouse
- Remind yourself about the great time you regularly have
- Overall, remind yourself that your relationship is much more than these small issues
5. Had a bad nights sleep
- Do light exercise or Yoga
- Do some breathing exercises
- Have a glass of water
- Write a journal and introspect
- Prepare a different breakfast
6. Boss gave stinging, bad feedback
- Remain calm
- Explain yourself
- Ask to schedule a private meeting
- Offer a solution
- Own up your mistake
7. Didn't get the promotion/ raise you were expecting
- State your expectation clearly to your boss

- Prepare a plan and make your boss a stakeholder

- After writing, rank the items in order of importance

- Focus on one thing at a time

- Remove distractions
- Learn to say "No"
- Have deadlines

- Don't take it personally
- Know that one rejection doesn't define your worth
- Try to know the reason behind rejection and work on improvement
- Count the good things in your life

- First understand that life is not fair then approach the issue
- List down the facts, don't just go by emotions
- Talk to the person with right authority to handle the issue
- Maintain your calm

- Break your routine, cook a new dish, take a walk in different neighborhood

- Have a group video call with buddies
- Organize your place

- Know that past is just a memory trace and you cannot change it
- Whatever it is, forgive yourself for it
- Accept the past and focus on making the present moment better
- Let go of it
14. Your kid throwing tantrums, crying
- In such instances, convincing doesn't generally work
- Don't lose your temper
- Try to distract the kid with something else: their favorite toy, food, pet..
- Empathize with the kid
15. Spending too much time on social media (SM)
- Have fix time slots 2-3 times in a day to see SM
- Keep mobile in different room while working
- Disable the SM apps/ use website blockers on your computer
- Disabling apps and websites reminds you that you have to be mindful
